Teijin is the world’s leading supplier of technical performance materials for marine sports, setting the benchmark in quality with proven superiority in dynamic strength and durability.
The technical triple rip-stop dacron is incredibly strong and reliable. It’s used in areas requiring rigidity and stability, the leading edge, struts, wingtips and reinforcement areas.

Utilising a 125g performance Dacron that’s 20% lighter than conventional Dacron, the reduced weight translates to true performance advantages. This light weight material provides a more crisp, instant response and feeling from the kite.

The Leading Edge features Transverse Sail Shaping creating a cleaner and tighter surface on the most important area of the aerofoil. The result is less turbulent airflow and longer skin adhesion, which positively effects the lift to drag ratio increasing overall performance.

Fast Flow One-Pump Inflation System
The Fast Flow One-Pump Inflation System makes set up and packing quick and easy. It features single point inflation/deflation and a high air flow rate between the Struts and Leading Edge, with clips to seal the hoses to prevent unwanted air flow in case of damage.

What’s on the inside counts too - we use top of the line materials and strategic internal reinforcements for increased strength and durability.
Overlap Flat Seams
Overlap flat seam construction improves sail control resulting in an overall cleaner canopy.
Load Distribution Panels
Dacron reinforcements are used on all loaded areas for enhanced load distribution. This means all loads are spread evenly into the sail ensuring the kite flies and performs at its best.
Direct Connect Struts
Our Direct Connect construction method improves load distribution between the Leading Edge, Struts and Canopy. Low Profile Aerodynamic Scuff Pads
Leading Edge bumpers are often large and unnecessary cosmetic items. At Ozone we build our kites and wings for performance and durability using the best materials & components available. Any areas requiring scuff protection we use a lightweight durable material with superior abrasion resistance, while keeping a low profile in order to reduce drag and maintain performance.
Unique bladder construction
Our bladders are constructed in-house with advanced custom built welding machines. Double layered sections are applied to any potential wear areas.
Anti-Snag line deflectors
The Anti-Snag line deflectors prevent bridles and lines from tangling around the wing tip. Safety is increased when launching with a partner and water re-launch is made easier.
Tuned Bridle Geometry
We work extensively during our R&D process to develop the size range to feel in tune with each other. Every kite has a unique bridle layout, individually tested and fine-tuned to maximize the feeling and performance.
Anti-Flap Soft Battens
Soft Battens strategically positioned along the Trailing Edge provide canopy support and reduce flutter, enhancing kite feedback to the rider and also reducing canopy material wear.
Back-line trimming options
Customise your handling and bar pressure with the back line bridle attachments. Closer to the Leading Edge for slower turn speed and more bar pressure, or closer to the Trailing Edge for faster turn speed and less bar pressure.

V5 – THE ESSENTIAL SELECTION
The Enduro V5 retains its signature DNA of all-round performance, but now produces more lift and hangtime.
Inspired by the Vortex project, we’ve brought across some of the most effective design features, like the 16-point bridle connection and sail tension, that helped make it such an explosive yet accessible performance jumping kite.
These, alongside a revised Enduro shape with less arc in the central section, have dramatically enhanced the jump and float capabilities of the V5 compared to its predecessor.
Tried and tested to deliver long lasting performance in thousands of kites for many years, the Enduro V5 is designed with the most reliable material combination. Balancing strength and durability at a reasonable weight, the Teijin dacron airframe and triple-ripstop canopy cloth form a formidable partnership.
Expect thrilling performance and a pin-point handling feel without the premium price tag.
VORTEX INSPIRED, LOADED WITH EXTRA BOOST
The Enduro V5 has a rock-solid, stable airframe with minimal bouncing, but it’s not merely a tuned-down Vortex. The V5 sits alone, as a phenomenal all-round weapon.
Reduced bar pressure and steering forces facilitate longer, heavily powered sessions, enhancing the overall freeriding experience. Additionally, the kite’s tendency to sit further forward in the wind window makes upwind riding effortless and efficient, with minimal lateral pull.
The clean forward drive and perfectly balanced feel have only added to the Enduro V5’s unhooked freestyle performance.
I immediately experienced a lot of really wild jumps on the Vortex — jumps where I kept going up and, just when I thought I was coming back down, I would go back up again. These jumps had previously felt rare, but I find them all the time on the Vortex. The same thing now happens with the Enduro V5

The technical triple rip-stop dacron is incredibly strong and reliable. It’s used in areas requiring rigidity and stability, the leading edge, struts, wingtips and reinforcement areas.
Continuous Curve Leading Edge and Transverse Sail Shaping
Each Leading Edge segment is curved to form a perfect smooth arc from tip to tip as opposed to straight segments with angled joints. Transverse Sail Shaping perfectly matches the Continuous Curve Leading Edge. These latest design features reduce parasitic drag and create a cleaner surface at the most important area of the airfoil. The result is less turbulent airflow, which positively affects the lift to drag ratio increasing overall performance.
4-line Pulley-less System

Fast Flow One-Pump Inflation System
The Fast Flow One-Pump Inflation System makes set up and packing quick and easy. It features single point inflation/deflation and a high air flow rate between the Struts and Leading Edge, with clips to seal the hoses to prevent unwanted air flow in case of damage.
Load Distribution Panels
Dacron reinforcements are used on all loaded areas for enhanced load distribution. This means all loads are spread evenly into the sail ensuring the kite flies and performs at its best.

Our Direct Connect construction method improves load distribution between the Leading Edge, Struts and Canopy. What’s the first thing you do when you get in a car? You click in your seatbelt, hearing that ‘click’ sound makes you feel secure that you are safely buckled up, and you know instinctively how to release it.
The design of our new release system, the Click-In Loop, is inspired by the same principle.
In the same way fastening your seatbelt has become a natural action when getting into a car, riders should activate and reload their release systems before and after every use.
Although this important safety check is often overlooked, checking your release before each session will ensure it is functioning properly. We developed the Click-In function to be simple and intuitive, so activating and reloading will become second nature.

Two Release Modes - The Click-In Loop offers riders a choice of two release modes, the recommended Standard or the optional Expert mode.Three Loop Size Options - Small, Medium and Large size harness loops are available for the Click-In Loop. Choose the Small if you ride hooked in only, have a shorter arm reach or prefer the bar closer to your body. The Medium size is perfect for most riders. The Large size is designed for unhooking or riders with a longer arm reach.
- Standard mode offers 100% flag out in all situations by releasing the Click-In Loop or letting go of the bar when un-hooked.
- Expert mode offers 100% flag out only when the Click-In Loop is released whilst hooked in, allowing riders practicing handle passes to miss the bar without releasing the kite to flag out (not recommended).
- Spinning Head with Anti-twist Flag Out Line - Our custom Stainless Steel Swivel Ring locates into the Click-In Loops rotating internal core. When manually turning the Spinning Head to un-twist front lines, the Flag Out Line rotates in unison with the core keeping all lines twist free.

FLYING LINE LENGTHS
We recommend flying the Mach 1 with 17m or 21m lines depending on conditions, discipline and rider preferences.
Choose to ride with 21m lines as an easy standard length for your first rides, in lighter winds or on larger kite sizes for all round riding.
When using 17m lines the Mach 1’s handling becomes more dynamic, responsive and direct – well suited to hydrofoiling. Shorter lines also increase jumping performance as you’ll feel an increased connection to the kite, while in stronger winds the upwind ability will also be enhanced.

WHY HAS THE MACH 1 REPLACED THE CHRONO IN OUR RANGE?
Given that our latest high-performance hydrofoil race kite, the R1 V5, is now highly specialised for hydrofoil racing with a two-line setup, minimal overhead lift and is built with ultra-lightweight materials, we saw an opportunity to merge race kite performance with freeride durability. We wanted to create a robust machine that excels in big air while maintaining the efficiency that tube kites can’t match.
When the R1 V4 was still current, many advanced twin-tip riders were choosing its high-
aspect design for big air and hangtime.
Recognising the demand for a freeride foil kite with race-like performance, we took the DNA of the R1 V3 & V4 models and re-tuned things — removing race-specific constraints while reinforcing durability and enhancing big air capability.

MACH 1 TUNING TIPS
BRAKE LINE SETTINGS
Three settings allow you to fine tune kite feedback and bar pressure to your liking. It is quick and easy to change with no extra lines to add or remove.
HYDROFOIL / SHORT LINES: The hydrofoil/short lines setting is the upper knot on the PB1 line. Recommended for hydrofoiling and when using lines less than 21m. This setting decreases bar pressure and offers a longer lifting period, more suitable for foiling manoeuvres.
ALL-ROUND: The All-Round setting is the middle knot on the PB1 line (factory setting). This offers an ideal balance in performance and feeling for most riders and conditions.
TWIN-TIP: The twin-tip setting is the lower knot on the PB1 line. This setting increases bar pressure and offers a sharper, more direct feeling, perfect for twin-tip riding. If you prefer a heavier and direct feel this could be the setting for you.
WE HAVE THE PERFECT FOIL KITE FOR YOU
The Mach 1 is a high performance foil kite. Due to the different handling, launching and landing techniques compared to tube kites, we do not recommend it for beginners or intermediate kitesurfers.
● Don’t worry. If you are an intermediate kitesurfer, or looking for your first foil kite, we recommend the Hyperlink V4 which still delivers incredible low wind performance, but with a more familiar tube kite feel and easier set-up and handling.

WHO IS IT FOR?
This second model released alongside the Reo V7 is a razor sharp, laser focused wave kite designed for riders searching for ultimate performance.
The Ultra-X model is designed around the same transversely shaped canopy and air frame skeleton as the Reo V7 but features a 20% lighter dacron and 17% lighter canopy material. This may be one of the lightest pure wave kites on the market, but it’s not all about weight.
As ever our primary focus was on aerodynamic performance and the Ultra-X is stiffer throughout, offering increased drift, reduced nose diving at the edge of the window in radical surf and lightning fast, super-crisp response.
Drift performance and responsiveness at the edge of the window in slack line situations is perhaps the biggest appeal to those searching for true surf performance. While the Reo has always been a pure wave performance machine, all of these lightweight performance handling gains offer huge advantages for the freeride kitefoiler, too.
BUILDING FROM THE V7 BASE
Broken down, the Ultra-X is built around the new V7 framework. There have been many subtle tweaks to stitching lines and panels applied to these designs since the V6 model, but the biggest improvement in canopy tautness has been achieved thanks to transverse sail shaping on the leading edge, improving your sense of sail control.
Applying the experience of our paragliding design colleagues, the V7 framework features an extra seam in the sail running close to the leading edge, which allows for more true 3D shaping.
Not only have we managed to add more profile curvature, we’ve also added more strength in the high lift zone thanks to that extra seam.
ULTRA-X MATERIALS
In collaboration with colleagues in the dedicated prototyping department of Ozone’s own factory, our design team embarked on an intense material development and testing programme spanning more than three years.
The use of light weight performance materials has helped deliver improved drift, faster reactiveness / turning speed and more drive through the window. Despite being around 20% lighter than the V7, all materials used in the Reo Ultra-X are proven to deliver integral strength, too.
LIGHTER WEIGHT PERFORMANCE DACRON
The leading edge and struts are not only 20% lighter than 160g standard dacron, but is also more rigid. Also used on our new Flux V1 wing, this new 125g performance dacron material guarantees a longer lasting shape but also allows for more responsive handling and a tighter canopy for more aerodynamic performance gains.
LIGHTER WEIGHT CANOPY
Utilising the weight saving properties of the latest 46g double ripstop Teijin cloth (17% lighter than a 55g standard triple ripstop) further contributes to the increased drift performance in particular. The performance coating ensures high levels of strength and durability at a reduced weight.
BRIDLES – COMPLETING THE FULL EXTENT OF THE MISSION
As we continue to discover ever increasing aerodynamic performance, further gains are achieved through the use of a Technora line material for the bridle lines that’s 25% lighter and 25-35% thinner to further reduce drag throughout all areas of performance.
WHICH REO MODEL IS FOR YOU?
Reo V7
The V7 follows the Reo’s original path of being the most pure focused wave kite you can buy with exquisite aerodynamic handling that ensures excellent, long-lasting performance. It may surprise you to note that the ‘standard’ V7 model is still lighter than some of the other available models on the market that are pitched as ‘super light’.
The strength properties of the lighter weight materials in the Ultra-X are actually higher, but if you regularly kite off a rocky beach then the thicker materials of the regular V7 model will provide more ‘scuffable’ material with the extra layers of fibre for longer lasting wear and tear abuse.
Reo V7 ULTRA-X
We’ve taken things a step further and implemented different materials into the same V7 framework. All materials used in the Ultra-X have been chosen because they’re stiffer and often stronger for the intended use. However, like a carbon fibre road bike, the Ultra-X just requires an appreciation for how to handle high performance gear.
High performance levels are borne from the fact that our designers capitalise on having 100% access to Ozone’s own factory to try new ideas and then produce as many prototypes as it takes to make products feel just right.
The Reo V7 Ultra-X has the same ‘Reo’ feel that we’ve all grown to love but with subtle enhancements of the smooth, predictable drift and direct feeling in the bar (to know that you’re turning the kite purely through feel). The increased light wind drift and greater stability when fully depowered were apparent right from my first sessions. The direct response has also increased the amount of low end power I can generate from moving the kite through the wind window.
If you’re serious about wave riding, I wouldn’t hesitate to upgrade to the Ultra-X!

The kite sits a little further back in the wind window and tackles onshore conditions with ease. Increased bar pressure improves feeling from the kite when a wave is pushing with the wind. If you prefer a slightly heavier feel this could be the setting for you.
The Onshore setting is the knot on the end of the VBG pigtail.

Customise Bar Pressure and Turning Speed
Un-hooked riders will feel at home on the Reo, it will fly and float in unison with your movements. Simply trim in with the cleat before unhooking, or if you prefer to ride un-hooked often we suggest adjusting the Control Systems back leader lines to the longer position. To customise bar pressure and turning speed for your personal preference use the rear line adjustment tabs on the kite.
Easy Relaunch
Re-launch is quick and easy – by turning the bar or using the Re-launch Balls on the leader lines, the Reo will roll over and take off from the water in an instant. This is especially helpful if you’re stuck in the impact zone and need to get out of there fast!

The Uno V2 is a simple, affordable and robust inflatable de-power trainer kite. It’s an ideal Kitesurf trainer for schools, and perfect to have as a fun addition in the quiver to get family and friends into kiting! Being a lightweight package it is easy to travel with and keep in the car.
Responsive, fun, smooth and stable define the Uno V2. It comes in three sizes - 2.5m, 4m and 6m all with enough power to ensure beginners can easily progress to the next level.
The Uno V2 flies with our standard Kitesurf control system, this enables the student to progress easily to larger kites and to remain familiar with the control system set up. We recommend using line lengths of 15-25m.
The Uno V2 is amazing for teaching; the student can learn all the basics of flying an inflatable kite and how to use the release systems while using a small sized kite with less power. The Uno V2 is also ideal for lighter weight riders under 45kg for riding on the water.

Ozone Wing Waist Padded Belt
Regular price $52.99Ozone Waist Padded Belt Wingfoil / Wingboarding Harness. Closed cell foam doesn't absorb water, comes with a nylon hook so it doesn't damage your board.
Find an extra level of comfort and support compared to the standard webbing waist strap. The Wing Waist Padded Belt V1 is a very lightweight EVA product for those who occasionally hook-in but still want to prioritize freedom of movement without committing to a full harness feel
The Wing Waist Padded Belt V1 offers less support than the Connect Wing V2 harness, but is a great option for riders who aren’t regularly hooking in when very powered up, and therefore don’t need further support from a more dedicated harness.
The sliding hook allows your body to rotate freely and is much more comfortable when riding toeside. There is less rotational force through the harness and it will remain centered on your body.
The belt design also allows for maximum body movement when letting the wing flag out behind you.
The sliding hook can be moved to the side and folded down if you need to lie on your board to paddle, or to re-mount the board if you find that difficult with the hook in front of you.
The harness can also be flipped and worn either way round, allowing you to choose which side you prefer to attach the wing leash line (this requires removing the sliding hook, flipping over and re-installing, but it’s a very simple process).

The Zephyr V8 Ultra-X drives forward all the time and has less tendency to backstall in really light winds. Rather than relying on pure, brutal grunt, you can use the increased speed and response of the kite to create power at its low end.

Once you're up and planing on your board, the V8 will keep accelerating forward with less lateral pull, allowing you to hold on far more comfortably if the wind picks up, without disturbing your enjoyment of the session.
ULTRA-X MATERIALS

In collaboration with colleagues in the dedicated prototyping department of Ozone's own factory, our design team embarked on an intense material development and testing programme spanning more than three years.

The use of light weight performance materials has helped deliver improved drift, faster reactiveness / turning speed and more drive through the window. Despite being around 17% lighter than the V7, all materials used in the Zephyr V8 Ultra-X are proven to deliver integral strength, too. Please note that these Ultra-X materials are structurally very strong, but less abrasion resistant, so we advise beginners who will have a tendency to be rougher with their kite to consider instead our large Catalyst models for learning the sport in light winds.
LIGHTER WEIGHT PERFORMANCE DACRON
- The newly integrated 125g performance dacron material on the leading edge and struts is not only 20% lighter, but is also more rigid, guaranteeing a longer lasting shape and a tighter canopy. The careful implementation helped our design team deliver the more responsive handling and aerodynamic performance gains they wanted to reach.
LIGHTER WEIGHT CANOPY
- Utilising the weight saving properties of the latest 46g double ripstop Teijin cloth (17% lighter than a 55g standard triple ripstop) further contributes to the increased drift performance in particular. The performance coating ensures high levels of strength and durability at a reduced weight.
REDUCED DIAMETER BRIDLES
- Ensuring every inch of the new Zephyr is as performance oriented as possible, the new bridles have also been reduced in diameter and are made of an abrasion-resistant sheathed Dyneema line material.
- Every millimetre of potential drag savings count when it comes to finding the extremes of accessible lightwind performance. You can rely on our team to have poured over every square inch of the new Zephyr V8 Ultra-X to ensure it's tuned to get you riding sooner and for longer with less of the handling complications in flight that are often associated with light wind riding.
